Japan

I was in Japan for about 13 years, living and working in Oita, Tochigi, Matsumoto, Tokyo, Kawasaki and finally Beppu.  I taught adults.  Sometimes general English, sometimes Business English, and sometimes for TOEIC, TOEFL or EIKEN.

Business and Corporate Training

I have taught at many major Japanese companies.  I was based at Epson’s R & D centre in Nagano-ken for 4 years, and have also worked at Nissan, Sumitomo Metals, Sumicorp, Panasonic and Pioneer.

Malaysia

I worked at Binary University in Puchong.  In Malaysia I taught English for Academic Purposes, and prepared students for the IELTS and Cambridge exams.

UK

I worked at Manchester Business School a decade ago, at their China Centre.

Now

I teach privately, as I feel it can be more effective that way.
